Three suspected armed robbers tormenting the Erufo community in Ilaje Local Government Area of Ondo State, have been arrested by men of the State Police Command.
The three suspects who include: Bibowei Zeblon 34, Daniel Peretei, 33, and Julius Ekunjumi, 32, were accused to have robbed a petrol station in the area.
Speaking on their arrest, the State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Mr Femi Joseph, said the trio allegedly robbed one petrol dealer, Mr Yedo Blessing and his manager, Mr Omotehinse Igbekele, of an undisclosed amount of money.
Mr Joseph stated: “After receiving a distress call, immediately, the police swung into action and this led to the arrest of the three suspects.

“The following exhibits were recovered from them: two motorcycles, a mask, a ring and hand band while we recovered some part of the stolen money.”
Joseph, however, said the suspects have been helping the detectives on how to track the other fleeing member of the gang.
He stated that the suspects will be charged to court immediately after the completion of the investigation.
“We are still after the fleeing members of the gang and I want to assure the general public that they would soon be arrested,” the PPRO stated.
