The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigerian (PFN), Delta State chapter, has warned that except the Federal Government halts the killing of Nigerians, especially Christians, God may soon show his wrath on leaders in authority soon.
The Christian body said while it is obvious that the wickedness in Nigeria has become terrible, Christian leaders are trusting God in prayers that no matter how long it might take, God would see Nigeria through.
“We are calling on the government to take responsibility and to see to it that the killing, especially the killing of Christians, is stopped in this nation, so that God Himself will not arise in anger and strike those in authority and those who are in the nation,” the Christian body, however, warned.
The warning came from Bishop Kinsley Enakirherhi, Delta State chairman of PFN on Thursday at a press briefing held at the instance of the Reinhard Bonnke Gospel Crusade coming up between February 13th-16th, 2020 at Urhobo College Effurun by the Africa chapter of the Christ For All Nations (CFAN).
Bishop Enakirherhi, who was flanked by Bishop Dickson Ozah, State VC PFN; Rev. John Darko, Executive Director Africa Christ for All Nations (CFAN), Bishop Joshua Aiguekegbe, Chairman PFN Uvwie LGA; Rev. Andrew A. Imadu, Adviser Board of members PFN; Rev. Dr. Ok. Martins JP and Bishop Dr. Pius Odiako, opined that the blood of the righteous is sacred.
“The menace of killing of Christians and ministers that have been going on, there’s something about the blood of the righteous.

“When the blood of the righteous is being spilled, it cries out no matter how long it takes. It cries against the land and the people that are responsible.
“The government of this nation should look into this because the cry is too much. Too much innocent blood has been spilled and especially the blood of Christians only on the basis of believing and confessing Jesus.
“The government needs to be more responsive to this because they’ve not really acted enough and there are not enough condemnations on the part of the government on this evil that has been going on.
“Of all these killings that have been going on in the country, not one single person has been apprehended as being responsible.
“The government needs to be very responsive to this menace that is causing grief to the nation,” the Christian body warned.
On the recent beheading of Rev. Lawal Andimi, the Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria in Michika Local Government Area of Adamawa by Boko Haram, the PFN body in Delta expressed its disappointment but urged the FG to be alive to its primary responsibility of securing lives and property.
Speaking on the coming crusade, PFN leader said before Reinhard Bonnke was called home recently, God had told the late cleric to hold the crusade with his successor, Evangelist Daniel Kolenda, presiding with the support of the Christian Association of Nigerian (CAN) and PFN.
Governor of Delta State, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, would grace the crusade as the special guest of honour which holds 4:00p.m each day.
