The chief executive officer of Pelican Valley Nigeria Limited, Babatunde Adeyemo, has been honoured as Synergy’s ‘Man of the Year 2023, an award conferred on him by Synergy Interlinks Network.
The recognition, which is one of the over 60 awards he has received so far in the year 2023, was took place at took place at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL), Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Adeyemo who doubles as the founder of Oko-Opo Foundation was honoured because of Pelican’s projects including Pelican Valley Estate Laderin, Abeokuta; Pelican Brief Estate; Pelican’s Ecostay Apartments and Pelican Green Acres Farm Estate, Kobape.
Explaining further, the founder of Synergy Interlinks Network, Mr Kazeem Adewale, said the award is meant to celebrate Adeyemo’s remarkable achievements in the areas of philanthropy, integrity and due diligence in real estate practice, jobs creation and helping to bridge the nation’s widening housing deficit.
In his acceptance speech, Adeyemo dedicated the award to the Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun for creating a conducive environment for businesses in the state, and former Governor Olusegun Osoba for the rural electrification projects that paved way for the Pelican-Brief Estate project at Kobape.
Other personalities who received the Synergy’s Meritorious Awards include a member of Ogun State House of Assembly representing Idiroko-Ipokia State constituency, Hon Bisi Oyedele and minority leader of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon. Lukman Adeleye.
