PDP leaders beg Jandor to reconsider resignation

Top leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have appealed to Dr. Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran (JANDOR) to reconsider his resignation from the party.

A delegation led by National Secretary Hon. Ude Okoye, former spokesperson Mr. Kola Ologbodiyan, and former House of Representatives member Hon. Shina Peller visited JANDOR at his Abuja office, urging him to return to the party.

Okoye emphasized the PDP’s founding vision of a truly national political party where members are joint-owners, with the people’s interest as the top priority.

JANDOR appreciated the show of support and assured the delegation of his willingness to collaborate with them in the future, despite any differences in political alignment.

“The National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, Hon. Ude Okoye, a former National Publicity Secretary of the party and a veteran journalist, Hon. Kola Ologbodiyan, a former member of the House of Representative, Hon. Shina Peller among other prominent PDP Chieftains earlier today visited Dr. Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran JANDOR to plead with him to rescind his decision to quit the party. 
 
“The members of the delegation who visited Dr Adediran in his Abuja office  although acknowledged the justifications of his resignation from the PDP, however implored him to reconsider the option of staging a comeback. 
 
“Hon. Ude Okoye, the National Secretary of the party reminiscing on the history of PDP stated that the vision of the founding fathers is to build a truly national political party where all members are joint-owners and the interest of the people is the topmost priority. He advised that political stalwarts like Dr. Adediran, who have been frustrated out of the party should return to rescue it in the interest of the people.
 
“While appreciating the show of love and camaraderie, JANDOR assures the delegation of his willingness and readiness to collaborate with his friends in his future political journey notwithstanding the difference in political alignment,” the statement read.
