GOVERNORS of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are meeting in Gombe to fashion out the way for the party preparatory for the 2019 general elections.
The meeting is expected to be attended by all the PDP Governors as well as a few other stalwarts of the party in the country.
Feelers from the party have it that topmost on the agenda of the party is the presidential ticket and the modalities to be adopted for picking the right candidate who can stand up to the stiff opposition of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC).
It was also learnt that the meeting will discuss the recent defection of some notable members of the party to another party a development that is said to have deflected the strength of the party.
