Renowned veteran actress Patience Ozokwor and teenage star Uchechi Treasure Okonkwo have collaborated on multiple projects in recent years, many of which Ozokwor has self-produced. Now, she has unveiled Boldline Entertainment as the home for their latest venture—a Christmas comedy drama that will see both actresses take center stage.
This holiday special marks another milestone for Boldline Entertainment, a production company that has already delivered five chart-topping films. In this upcoming festive feature, Ozokwor will star and serve as co-narrator, guiding viewers through a heartfelt journey of motherly love.
The film’s pilot was penned by Eze Ogechi Patience, with Chijioke Okonkwo as producer and John Osemeke directing. Eze Ogechi Patience, known for her work on Lingering Pain, In My Circle, and What Happened to Keira Johnson?, will also take on the role of producer, alongside Promise Obiesie and Ndubuisi Uzochukwu, under the BoldLine Studios banner.
Production commenced earlier this year, with the film set to premiere on December 20, 2024.
Meanwhile, Uchechi Treasure Okonkwo is currently on her European tour, having recently won two prestigious awards at the Nollywood Travel Film Festival in Italy and the Africa Summit Festival and Award in London. She starred as Chiazokam in her latest special, In My Circle, which debuted at #5 on Nollywood Movies last summer on YouTube, amassing over 10 million views.
Additionally, Patience Ozokwor—fondly known as Mama G or G for General—has built a legacy with countless hit films, including Wedding Party 2 and Ukwa. Uchechi, on the other hand, has made waves with standout performances in The Good Doctor alongside Jackie Appiah and Chief Williams’ Daughter with Nkem Owoh. She is proudly represented by BLE.
