Pastor Adegboyega donates N5m to KIEK foundation

In the quest to support the KIEK foundation and its mission to alleviate the sufferings of children in Nigeria, Pastor Tobi Adegboyega of SPAC Nation has donated the sum of five million naira to the drive.
He made this donation during a conversation with the Chairman of the Cubana group, Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly called Obi Cubana.
During the conversation, Obi Cubana shared with his wife, Ebele, activities with indigent children which she has passionately driven through her foundation to ensure that more children get an education.
Adegboyega also noted that the activities of Obi Cubana’s wife work are mostly born out of compassion, adding, “The world we live right now, a lot of people are going through a lot, so she is focused on taking out kids from the streets and putting them in school. She is also helping those who are abused, this she is doing because when you get the foundation right which is the kids, you have gotten the future right because they are the leaders of tomorrow and that was the attraction for me.
“So, she gets funding from friends and the Cubana group has a percentage we pay into the foundation just to ensure it is sustained. We also go beyond that because she checks on the families that are accessible and know how there are surviving.
Narrating a peculiar case his wife took up, Obi Cubana said, “There was a child whose name is Mohammed, he was hawking groundnuts, my wife made it a point to cater for him, in a few days, about five other children came crying, from the same parents, saying they wanted to be put in school, in fact, one of my friends, Tochukwu was around that day and volunteered to send one of them to school.
“Through this foundation, we now have hundreds of kids scattered all over Nigeria that she sends to school because if we do not do this, they will become a menace to even the rich.”
This, however, prompted Pastor Adegboyega, who donated to support her activities, noting that, “the spirit of independence, we will be supporting her foundation with the sum of five million naira and we look forward to meeting these kids.”
