Oyo Speaker harps on unity among PDP members

The Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Adebo Ogundoyin has harped on unity among members of the party in the 33 local government areas.

He made this known while playing host to the 33 Local Government PDP Chairmen in the State at the Ori-Oke family residence in Eruwa, Ibarapa East State Constituency on Sunday.

The meeting, according to him, is aimed at discussing ways to move the party forward across all Local Governments in Oyo State.

The 33 Local Government PDP Chairmen were led to the meeting by Alh Lukman Adesina, the Chairman of PDP in Ibadan North West.

Rt. Hon. Ogundoyin expressed his gratitude to the Chairmen for their efforts in ensuring the party’s unity at the grassroots level and in moving the PDP forward in Oyo State.

“I am happy to host all the 33 Local Government PDP Chairmen in the State in our family home here in Anko, Eruwa,” he said.

The Speaker specifically appreciated Alh Lukman Adesina for his exemplary leadership style in coordinating all the Chairmen.

He also commended the Chairmen for keeping the party together in all the 33 Local councils, urging them to continue promoting unity and cooperation among party leaders and members.

The Speaker further expressed his gratitude to the Chairmen for their role in mobilising party faithful at the grassroots level.

He noted that the party’s dominance and popularity in the state reflect the efforts and effectiveness of its local leadership, especially the party Chairmen in all Local Governments in Oyo.

Rt. Hon. Ogundoyin reiterated his commitment to working together with all the 33 Local Government PDP Chairmen in the State.

In response, Alh Lukman Adesina expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Speaker for hosting the 33 Local Government PDP Chairmen in Eruwa.

Alh. Adesina acknowledged the harmonious working relationship between the legislative, executive, and judicial arms of government in Oyo State, which has driven development and progress in the state.

He also commended the 10th Oyo State House of Assembly under Ogundoyin’s leadership for their dedication to serving the people of Oyo State.

“We appreciate the Speaker’s commitment to strengthening our party and promoting unity among our members. We are confident that our collaboration will continue to yield positive results for the people of Oyo,” Adesina said.
