THE Oyo State Government will on Thursday, October 25, 2018, host another edition of the Federal Government Special Town Hall meeting focused on infrastructure in line with one of the cardinal objectives of the President Muhammad Buhari led administration.
Infrastructural revival and accelerated development of railways, roads, industries and power amongst others are the fulcrum of the Town Hall Meeting which will hold at the Emeritus Professor Theophilus Ogunlesi Hall, Opposite U.C.H by 10:00 am.
The State Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, Mr. Toye Arulogun made this known on Sunday, adding that the Town Hall meeting will be an avenue for the federal government delegation to communicate government’s policies and activities as well as receive feedback on infrastructural development, disclosing that the State Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi will be the host.

Arulogun noted that the Special Town Hall Meeting will provide a platform for stakeholders, in the construction & transportation sectors, policymakers and the general public to gainfully engage with the federal cabinet ministers in discussing the journey so far, the challenges and the way forward in the provision of massive infrastructure within the limited resources of the nation.
He stated that the Honourable Minister of Information & Culture, Alhaji Lai Muhammed will be accompanied to the Town Hall Meeting by the Honourable Ministers of Power, Works & Housing, Water Resources, Finance & Budget, Health and National Planning.
