Iseyin Agric Value Hub and the Oyo State Agribusiness Development Agency (OYSADA) have taken a significant step toward advancing agribusiness development through a strategic engagement held at the Agency’s office.

The meeting brought together key officials from both teams. The OYSADA delegation included Mr Ajetumobi Akinwumi, Director of Technical Services; Mr. Popoola Olusola, Regional Manager (Oyo); and Omotunde Oluwatobi.

The Iseyin Agric Value Hub team was led by its Chief Executive Officer, TPL Lukman Komolafe, alongside Mr. Richard Samuels, Mr. Oluwatosin Familola, Adeyanju Opeyemi, and Barrister Wale Oladejo.

The primary purpose of the meeting was to present the Iseyin Agric Value Hub project and seek strategic collaboration with OYSADA to position the hub as a private sector-driven agribusiness cluster capable of attracting investment, supporting farmers, and enhancing value chain development in Oyo.

Key issues discussed during the meeting included security architecture, water availability, investor targeting, land ownership structure, pricing sustainability, accommodation plans, and investor protection mechanisms.

The Hub’s management provided assurances on security partnerships, existing infrastructure provisions, and the presence of a legal framework to safeguard investor interests.

Additionally, a strategic agenda was presented to OYSADA, outlining areas of potential collaboration, including stakeholder engagement and institutional support for the hub’s development.

In response, OYSADA acknowledged the viability and strategic importance of the project, commended the vision of the development team, and confirmed that the proposals presented would be escalated within the appropriate government channels.

The Agency further expressed its readiness to collaborate with the Iseyin Agric Value Hub in driving agricultural investment and development across the state.

The meeting ended on a positive note, with both parties reaffirming their commitment to a productive partnership aimed at transforming agribusiness opportunities in Oyo.
