“I wish him a very happy birthday and God’s infinite mercies upon him.
In his sermon earlier, the preacher at the event, Evangelist Afolayan Adebayo, thanked God for the life of Adeosun, saying he cherished his simple lifestyle.
The cleric, who took his main Bible texts from Psalm 100: 4-5 and Lamentation 3: 22-23, emphasised the importance of thanksgiving, saying it is a way of testifying to God mercies, compassion and faithfulness upon one’s life.
He explained that giving thanks unto God should be a habit for every practical Christian irrespective of their circumstance in life, be it palatable or not.
He noted that life is a battlefield and that it is only God who can supply the needed strength to effectively sail through the struggles.
He, however, congratulated Adeosun and wished him many more fruitful years.
In his thanksgiving message, the celebrator, Mr Adeosun, said he had lots of reasons for thanking God against all odds.
He explained that even though he had wanted to study medicine even as he sat for JAMB examination multiple times without meeting up with the high cut-off point for the course at the University of Ibadan back then, fate eventually found him to study pharmacy and today, he has found fulfillment in the pharmaceutical subsector.
He said the profession has taken him to many places and enabled him to estàblish St. Racheal’s Pharmaceutical company some years ago and also impacted many lives particularly youths and the needy through leadership training and scholarship.
He said he tagged his 55th birthday event “Thanksgiving in Triumph” to show and appreciate God for His benevolence over him, his family and his various undertakings.
He pointed out that one particular incident stood out in this regard and that is how God made him survive the Delta Variant of Covid-19 in 2021, noting that he nearly died of the virus.
He said he would continue to create employment, develop quality leaders and give to humanity.
