DEPUTY governor of Oyo State, Mr Moses Adeyemo has debunked some information doing the rounds that he has defected to the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
As contained in a statement by his Special Assistant on Media, Mr Sola Adegoke, Adeyemo described the rumour as the handiwork of unprogressive elements in the state.

Though he affirmed that he had dropped his governorship ambition, Adeyemo said he remained a committed member of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
“I remain a bonafide and committed member of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Oyo State. I have been a progressive all my life and I laboured to make the party what it is today in the state.
“Even though I have dropped my governorship ambition, I am still in the APC. I wonder where such rumour is coming from. Those carrying the rumour should produce evidence of my membership of ADC. I will continue to work for the progress and success of the APC in the state,” Adeyemo said.
