Oyo Police Command has listed some of the roads to be affected by restriction on human and vehicular movements during the conduct of Ibadan North Federal Constituency by-election on Saturday.
The affected roads include; Agbarigbo- Jembewon Road, Adamasingba – Danax Intersection, Bere-Oje Road, Idi-Ape Junction, Ojoo Road Stretch, Ajibode Junction, Ijokodo – Apete Road by Custom Barracks, and Eleyele – Sango Road.
The Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Adewale Osifeso, in a statement made available to the newsmen, said there would be restrictions on movement beginning at midnight on the Oyo by-election day until 5 pm within these areas.

The statement read, “We urge parents, guardians, and community leaders to play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of this electoral process.
“We encourage community members to discourage youths from being manipulated into engaging in violence or disruption. Please be aware that failure to adhere to these guidelines will result in legal consequences.
“The Oyo State Police Command remains unwavering in our commitment to a peaceful electoral process.
“We call upon all stakeholders to fulfill their responsibilities to protect democracy in our state. Working together, we can ensure that the Ibadan North Federal Constituency bye-election is conducted free from fear, violence, or intimidation”.
