The All Progressives Congress (APC), Oyo State, has restated its commitment to the full realization of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
It also urged every citizen to keep the faith and refrain from actions capable of distracting the federal government under the current administration, which, it noted, is poised to put the nation on the path of accelerated development, prosperity, and stability.
The party, in a statement issued on Monday and made available to journalists in Ibadan by its Publicity Secretary, Olawale Sadare, said that the recent appointment of its state chairman, Pharmacist Olayide Abas, as the Board Chairman of the Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital in Kaduna was another indication that President Tinubu is prepared to work with competent individuals to deliver on his promises to Nigerians.

“There is no gainsaying the fact that President Tinubu was prepared for the task of steering the country toward the promised land, as he hit the ground running. He has taken many bold steps aimed at addressing the nation’s long-standing socio-economic and political challenges while working tirelessly to ensure the full manifestation of the results expected from all the reforms and effective policies his administration has introduced so far.
“As a matter of fact, President Tinubu deserves the support and cooperation of all Nigerians and friends of Nigeria at this critical moment. On this note, we urge every citizen to replace undue sentiments, politics of bitterness, and personal vendettas with a strong sense of patriotism and humanity by joining hands with the president to move the country forward.
“With the recent appointment of our state chairman and other distinguished patriots to key positions at the federal level, we are further convinced that President Tinubu will leave no stone unturned in facilitating efficiency and productivity across all sectors of the nation’s economy. Discerning minds can now appreciate that President Tinubu’s leadership is rooted in strategic thinking, developmental strides, and a commitment to democracy.
“His inclusive approach to governance and willingness to partner with all stakeholders for national development reflect his zeal for a greater and better Nigeria in the near future. Undoubtedly, Alhaji Abas will bring his wealth of experience, competence, and personal virtues to bear in his new role, just as others appointed from Oyo State before him have been doing. We remain hopeful for more appointments as the Pacesetter State continues to be a hub of talent and patriotism,” the Oyo APC added.
