Oyo 2019: Together, we can

SENATOR Solagbade Olufemi Lanlehin (SOLAN), Oyo State African Democratic Congress (ADC) governorship candidate, wishes to express his heartfelt appreciation to the leadership and membership of the party, for finding him worthy of such noble assignment, and bestowing on him, the opportunity of being the party’s standard bearer in the coming 2019 gubernatorial polls.

Senator Lanlehin (SOLAN) specifically salutes the entire National Working Committee (NWC) of the party, led by the National Chairman, Chief Ralph Nwosu, the Chairman, Screening and Primary Committee, Barr. Peter Oyewole, as well as the National Vice Chairman (Southwest), who also doubles as the Committee’s Secretary, Dr. Dele Ajadi for their organisational acumen, and for entrenching transparency in the process which led to his emergence as the party’s candidate, despite the intense heat the process hitherto generated.

Likewise, he appreciates the foresight, direction and openness exhibited by the leadership quartet of Senator Rasidi Ladoja, Chief Michael Koleosho, Chief Layiwola Olakojo and Dr. Adebisi Busari, while also commending the State Working Committee (SWC) led by the Chairman, Dr. Hammed Ayinla and Secretary, Alh. Wasiu Emiola for their efforts at keeping the party one, and united.

Despite the intensity of the nomination process, Senator Lanlehin (SOLAN) again, commends all 12 co-aspirants for their maturity, assuring them of his determination to work concertedly with them, and indeed like-minds desirous of seeing Oyo State succeed, and her people prosper.

More importantly, Senator Lanlehin (SOLAN) wishes to thank all members of the party, as well as the good people of Oyo State for their support and encouragement while the process lasted, and wishes to note that the real task of emancipating our people from the clutches of lack and want the ruling APC has thrown them into, and restoring them to the paths of prosperity as is to be entrenched by the incoming ADC government, has just begun. With this in mind, the task becomes easy, and victory, achievable.
