The member representing Moba/Ilejemeje/Ido-Osi Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Akinlayo Davidson Kolawole, has stated that Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji, fully deserves the accolades he is receiving from across the country.
In a statement made available to newsmen, Hon. Akinlayo congratulated Governor Oyebanji on his recent recognition as the Silverbird Man of the Year. He commended the governor for his outstanding performance in Ekiti, stating, “This award provides undeniable proof of Governor Oyebanji’s administrative ingenuity.”

According to the lawmaker, Oyebanji’s selection for such a prestigious award of excellence further highlights his remarkable achievements and serves as a testament to his national recognition. He added, “For those of us in Ekiti, we initially thought his brilliant performance was only being appreciated within the state. However, his recognition as the Silverbird Man of the Year confirms that Governor Oyebanji is one of the best governors in Nigeria.”
Akinlayo emphasized that the honor calls for the governor to continue demonstrating unwavering commitment, dedication, and passion for the welfare of the state and its people. He remarked, “Our governor is a trailblazer, and his mastery of governance and politics is unmatched. His numerous achievements in the state justify the accolades and commendations he consistently receives.”
He further described Oyebanji as a “political bridge-builder and unifier,” stating that opposition in Ekiti is practically nonexistent due to the governor’s inclusive leadership.
