“Our university ranks 9th best among 298 universities in Nigeria.
“So, be regular in attending lectures, do all your assignments, shun deviant behaviours, avoid indecent dressing, carefully select your friends, as bad friends destroy good habits, shun cultism, examination malpractice, hooliganism and any other vice that can expose you to danger as those found culpable of any will be dealt with in line with our disciplinary mechanisms as a university,” she highlighted, adding, “This means that LASU has a zero tolerance for any of these vices and also for sexual and gender-based violence anywhere on campus.
“So, do not keep silent when you are harassed or assaulted in any manner, but ensure you respect the opinions of others as well as staff members so as to enjoy your stay on campus.’
Olatunji-Bello maintained that even though there is freedom as a university but it is with limitations and obligations for both the students and staff members to always do the right things.
