#OsunDecides2018: Buhari, Oshiomhole, others storm Osun to drum support for Oyetola

BATTLE for the soul of Osun State ahead September 22 governorship poll heightened on Tuesday as bigwigs of the All Progressives Congress (APC), including President Muhammadu Buhari, national leader of the party, Senator Bola Tinubu stormed Osogbo to drum support for the candidacy of the ruling party in the Saturday’s gubernatorial poll.

Findings by the TribuneOnline indicated that while some of the major stakeholders, including Tinubu, had been in Osogbo since Sunday and early hours of Monday as parts of the determination to ensure victory for the APC in the governorship election.

Besides, there was a heavy presence of security agents, including the deployment of security facilities to ensure effective protection of lives and properties while the election lasted.

Some of the chieftains spotted by our correspondent at Osogbo Township Stadium, venue of the grand finale of the APC mega rally included the national chairman of the APC, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, the incumbent Governor of Lagos State, Mr Akinwumi Ambode, former governor of Ogun State, Chief Segun Osoba, former interim national chairman of the APC, Chief Bisi Akande, Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on diaspora, Abike Dabiri and Gov Abdullahidulahi Ganduje, among others.
