The Editor of Saturday Tribune, Dr. Lasisi Olagunju, will deliver a public lecture on Friday, December 13, as part of this year’s Akoraye Day celebration in Modakeke. The community will also launch a N1 billion development fund aimed at advancing the town.

Dr. Adesoji Obayomi, Chairman of the 2024 Akoraye Day Celebration Planning Committee, made this announcement during a press conference held in Modakeke on Friday.

According to him, Dr. Olagunju will speak on the topic: “Unity of Purpose as a Panacea for Building a Strong and Sustainable Community.” The lecture is expected to provide actionable insights for fostering progress and harmony within the community.

He emphasized, “On Friday, December 13, 2024, between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM, a public lecture will take place at Modakeke Town Hall, organized by Modakeke Development Partners. The topic underscores the essence of our gathering—a call to solidarity, resilience, and collective action.
