Osinbajo’s Busy Day Typical, Says Aide After VP Attends Three Public Events In Few Hours

Published by

Laolu Akande, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media & Publicity, Office of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo (SAN), on Thursday, chronicled the typical busy day of the 64-year-old Professor of Law and number two citizen of Nigeria.

Taking to his Instagram, Akande wrote, “Busy day for the Vice President, but also very typical and reflective of his unrelenting quest to deal with the issues and commitment to rallying people towards the attainment of “the greatest good to the greatest number.”

“So the VP started the day with the President chairing a Security briefing from the Service Chiefs, then he spoke at the 6th anniversary of the Future Assured programme of the First Lady.

“Later, he speaks again at the public presentation of former Senate President Ken Nnamani’s book, “Standing Strong”. Afterwards he returns to his office for series of meetings on several issues. Ask me next time how some of us cope catching up with the hardworking VP! That is another story!!”

Osinbajo, has been hailed by many well-meaning Nigerians, even his critics, as the best Vice-President in terms of performance and delivery since Nigeria’s return to democratic rule in 1999.
