No fewer than 50 suspected cultists have been arrested by the operatives of the Operation Delta Safe of the Nigeria Police, Delta Police Command.
The arrest was made late Thursday night at brothels and other flashpoints in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State by the police unit led by CSP Eyoh Anietie.
It was gathered that the arrest was coming following a series of rival cult clashes and killings in the area.
Meanwhile, the Delta State Commissioner of Police, CP Mohammed Hafiz Inuwa, who confirmed the arrests of the suspects, did not say whether weapons were recovered from the suspects.
