Not less than one million people are expected in the one-day special payers and praise fiesta in Abuja tagged “Celebrate the Comforter” by the Founder, Love of Christ Generation Church, Reverend Mother, Esther Ajayi, also known as Iya Adura.
Rev Mother Ajayi, the prime promoter of the annual event, said this year’s event is being held in Abuja as a place of political authority in Nigeria; therefore, the Christin community should come together and speak good to the land from the same point for a better country in all ramifications
According to her, it was important for the people to celebrate the unity of the Holy Spirit, especially as the plan of God to turn around the situation of Nigeria is sure.
Rev. Ajayi said the event would involve people from all over the world participating through the power of social media.
Rev. Mother Ajayi, who relied on Jeremiah 11 verse 29, said the plan of God for Nigeria stands sure, and that is to change the fortunes of the country.
She said the 2024 Celebrate the Comforter, scheduled to be held on Saturday, July 20, 2024, would be one that would bring about God’s answered prayers for the Nigerian situation, particularly the economy.
Prophetess Ajayi said Nigeria at this time is blessed with a bold and courageous president in the person of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and he deserved to enjoy the prayers of all Nigerians across the board for a better country.
She said Nigerians should give themselves to prayers and blessings for their country, as the number of curses on the country by her citizens should be turned into blessings so that the people can eat the fruits of their tongues.
“Tinubu is a bold and courageous leader. He is not a push-around person. He is going to turn our country around.
“As Nigerians, if we can just be a little patient, I can see us going to a greater height. It is not going to be long.
“We have come to Abuja now, you will see. It is a turnaround for the best.
Rev. Mother Ajayi had tours of the city twice to raise awareness about the programme coming up on February 20, 2024, with an over 20-kilometre rally with her supporters for the awareness of the FCT residents to come out and participate in the prayer and prose sessions.
