- Expresses hope on his party’s victory
Ahead of the November 26 governorship election in Ondo State, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Amos Olayinka, has assured that PDP will resolve its differences over the party’s representative in the coming election.
Olayinka gave the assurance, while speaking with newsmen in Lagos, saying the current crisis concerning the real candidate of the PDP would be resolved.
He said: “PDP will present a candidate because Jimoh Ibrahim and Eyitayo Jegede will soon agree among themselves who will be the party’s candidate.”
The businessman cum politician, also expressed hope that his party would secure victory in the coming election.
“I am 100 per cent sure PDP will win Ondo State with Jegede because he has the popularity needed to win an election of such magnitude even though Jimoh Ibrahim has a lot of money,” he said.
Once the differences are resolved, Chief Olayinka insisted the PDP would coast home victory in the coming poll in Ondo State.
