One of Nigeria’s most celebrated wedding photographers, Oluseyi Magic, has harped on how creative storytelling and crafting narratives through photography can be essential for photographers hoping to make their mark in the industry.
This is just as he said finding one’s feet and unique voice even as a photographer early can be instrumental for many.
He stated this when at the Advanced Photography Workshop hosted in Warri, Delta State by Camera Joint in collaboration with Sony Alpha. The event was a haven for aspiring and professional photographers eager to elevate their craft.
Known for his ability to tell timeless love stories through his lens, Oluseyi Magic delivered a session that left attendees in awe, not just of his technical prowess but also of his ability to connect and inspire.
During his address, he also harped on the importance of leveraging technology and partnerships to improve creative outcomes.
Speaking to an engaged audience, Oluseyi explored how tools like the Sony Alpha series are empowering photographers to push the boundaries of their work, even as he lauded the partnership between Camera Joint and Sony Alpha as an important collaboration for equipping photographers with the right resources to compete on a global stage.
The workshop also featured other prominent photographers, each sharing unique insights.
Reflecting on the workshop, Oluseyi expressed gratitude for the opportunity to give back to the photography community.
“It feels special to be here in Warri to impact the amazing photographers here. This experience has been fantastic; from the practical session to the theory to the conversations we’ve had so far, it’s just beautiful. It is such a nice place to be. In fact, I feel like moving to Warri now. Everyone here is so welcoming. They hosted me so well. Thank you to CameraJoint and his team. I really want to come back here again.” he remarked.
His session also left lasting impressions on the attendees. For many of them, the lessons learned from Oluseyi Magic’s session will undoubtedly shape their journeys for years to come.
