Olukoya opens trade fair for SMEs

The General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, Dr Daniel Olukoya, on Saturday, encouraged Nigerians and members of his church to remain resilient and seize the opportunities available to them.

Dr Olukoya made this remark during the inauguration of the Seminar/Trade Fair Extravaganza, organised by the church for over 200 Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) at the University of Lagos Multi-Purpose Hall.

After officially opening the exhibition, Olukoya inspected the quality of products and services displayed by business owners at various stands within the premises.

The chairman of the organising committee, Pastor Kunle Adesanya, explained that the exhibition was designed to encourage participants to establish their own businesses and enhance their entrepreneurial ideas.

He highlighted that offering goods and services at discounted rates during the event would provide church members with an opportunity to explore new business ventures that could serve as a lifeline for them and their families.

Adesanya further added that the exhibition allowed business owners to showcase their products for maximum profit while advising the youth to take advantage of the Nigerian environment by exploiting the numerous opportunities available around them.

Additionally, seminar topics covered during the event included ‘Kingdom Business’ by Professor Elijah Ayolabi, Vice Chancellor of Mountain Top University, Ogun State; ‘Strategies for Successful Business in Today’s World’ by Mr. Oscar Macaulay of McDaniel Personal Care Limited, Ogun State; and ‘Maximising Your Business Potential’ delivered by Mrs Nike Faseun.
