The Chairman of the Federal Civil Service Commission ( FCSC), Prof. Tunji Olaopa, will on Monday deliver the keynote speech as the National Council of Civil Service Commissions of the Federation begins a conference in Katsina State.
Katsina State Governor, Dikko Umar Radda, who is the host of the conference, will declare open the programme which will draw participants from different civil service commissions across the country.
The participants at the conference with the theme “The Role of the Civil Service Commission in Driving the Renewed Hope Agenda” will include civil service commissioners, permanent secretaries, civil servants and other stakeholders.
Apart from Prof. Olaopa, other speakers at the conference will include the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs Didi Esther Walson-Jack, who will talk on ” On my Vision for an Epic-reprofiled Federal Civil Service”; Prof. Adeola Adenikinju whose topic is “Delivering the Renewed Hope Agenda and Programme Bond”; Mr Soji Agampa who will talk on “Ethical Leadership and Service Delivery”; and Prof. Abdullah Y. Shehu, whose topic is “The Causes and Effects of Corruption on Leadership and Governance: A Public Sector Approach”. While the Head of Service of Edo State, Dr Anthony Osas Okungbowa, will speak on ” Nigerian Civil Service: Building into the Future”, the immediate past Chairman of the FCSC, Dr Tukur Bella Ingawa is expected to deliver a goodwill message at the conference.
The four-day conference will end on Thursday.
