Okwuosa Foundation, Oilserve celebrate Oraifite Boys’ School

The Sir Emeka Okwuosa Foundation (SEOF), in partnership with Oilserve Limited, has celebrated the academic and leadership achievements of the graduating students of Oraifite Boys’ Secondary School.

The partners celebrated the staff and students during the recent valedictory service of the school held in Oraifite, Anambra.

The Executive Director of SEOF, Chidimma Okoye, in her remarks, underscored education as a cornerstone of the foundation’s mission, stressing that events like this reflect their ongoing commitment to education and community support.

Okoye further stressed that education is not just a pillar of the foundation but also the essence of their commitment to transforming lives.

“Sir Emeka Okwuosa’s belief in the power of education inspired the establishment of Oraifite Boys’ Secondary School and continues to guide its mission and values,” she said.

Okoye seized the opportunity ─ on behalf of the foundation and Oilserve Limited ─ to bid farewell to the outgoing principal of the school, Reverend Dr Charles Nnaemeka, for the work and service he rendered to the school and the community.

The foundation, in recognition of academic excellence, presented prizes to 36 outstanding students across various grades (JSS1 to JS3 and SS1 to SS3).

Okoye said the award was designed to honour, motivate exceptional performance, and celebrate the students’ hard work and dedication throughout the academic year.

The awards were as follows: First position (N20,000 and a school bag), second position (N15,000), and third position (N10,000).

The foundation also acknowledged the dedication of the teaching staff with a token of N100,000.

In addition, the outgoing principal, Reverend Dr Nnaemeka, was honoured with a special gift as part of his send-off.

Nnaemeka expressed his appreciation to the partners, noting the significant impact of the foundation and Oilserve Limited on the school community and its mission.

Reverend Dr Nnaemeka stated that the foundation remains devoted to advancing educational excellence and supporting community development.

“This event stands as a testament to the foundation’s unwavering dedication to empowering students and honouring those who contribute to educational progress,” he said.
