Lawmakers in Ogun State have cut short their end of the year recess in order to screen Honourable Justice Mobolaji Ayodele Ojo for the position of President, Customary Court of Appeal in the state.
Upon resumption, the lawmakers will also screen Mrs Kikelomo Longe for possible ratification and approval as commissioner as well as persons appointed by Governor Dapo Abiodun into caretaker committees of local government councils in the state.

Speaker of the Assembly, Rt Hon Olakunle Oluomo, said the resumption on Monday, 6th January, will afford the assembly opportunity to consider correspondences received during the New Year break from Governor Abiodun. This was contained in a release signed by the Ag Clerk of the Assembly, Deji Adeyemo, and made available to Tribune Online.
According to the release, the Assembly will screen the commissioner-nominee and Justice Ojo for the position of the President of the Customary Court of Appeal on Monday, while members of the caretaker committees appointed for local government councils in Ogun Central senatorial district will be screened on Tuesday, 7th January.
It added that the screening for members of the caretaker committees for local government councils in Ogun East and Ogun West senatorial districts would take place on Wednesday, 8th January, at the Assembly Complex.
