Ogun State House of Assembly has interfaced with the legal representatives of Bluestone Garden City which Pastor Mathew Ashimolowo has stakes, represented by Chief Abolade Fasann and Dapo Opakunle as well as the management of Arc- View Investment Limited led by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Segun Oshundairo, who are the petitioners at the Assembly complex, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.

The meeting jointly convened by the House Committees on Lands and Housing, as well as Justice, Ethics and Public Petitions was chaired by Hon. Damilola Soneye to address issues surrounding the contractual logjam between the two firms and find an alternative and peaceful resolution of the matter.

The meeting resolved that the two firms needed to reach an amicable resolution on certain contractual differences generated in the course of their business dealings.

According to the committee, the Assembly was only interested in the security of lives and properties of the citizenry and their peaceful coexistence, hence the need to intervene to prevent anything that could lead to breach of peace in any part of the state.

Responding, one of the legal representatives of the Bluestone Garden City, Opakunle, chronicled all that happened in the course of the transactions, including efforts by the firm to reach an agreement with Arc View Investment Limited but was not fruitful, hence the need to seek legal redress on the transaction.

The representatives assured that the two parties would report back to the Assembly on March 27, to finally address all issues relating to the land transactions.

On his part, the petitioner, Arc- View Investment Limited, led by Oshundairo apologised to Pastor Ashimolowo and the representatives of Bluestone Garden City, whom he described as good friend, saying the delay in concluding the transaction had caused distress to subscribers of his estate.
