Ogun 2019: ADC will leverage on APC, PDP crisis to win ― Isiaka

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Ogun State, said it would leverage on the unending crises within the folds of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressives Congress (APC) to win all elective posts in the coming elections.
This was disclosed by the governorship candidate of the party, Prince Gboyega Nasir Isiaka, in his remarks during fundraising programme, on Sunday, in Lagos.
Isiaka, a two-time governorship candidate in the state in 2011 and 2015 general elections said the crises within the two parties would automatically paved way for ADC.
The governorship candidate said he was in the business of politics to succeed the incumbent, Senator Ibikunle Amosun by winning than “running from one court to the other.”
“All politics is local. I’m in the business of governance for winning. I left PDP because of the unending crisis in the party. The party has been in crisis since 2011.
“The broom party is equally in crisis and with all these, it shows that the ADC will occupy Government House in 2019. All that is happening around us is an indication that we are winning the election,” he said.
He described politics as a difficult terrain and urged everyone to be actively involved in it for a greater and better society.

“The business of governance is what everybody must participate in. They must be interested in who governs them,” Isiaka added.
Isiaka promised that his administration would focus on human capital and infrastructural development where maximum human welfare is achievable.
The governorship candidate also said that participatory democracy is key to his government by building trust and confidence in the governed.
The State Chairman of the party, Dr Gbolade Osinowo, also corroborated Isiaka, that the party is one without crisis and the only democratic option that must be adopted by the electorate.
Osinowo who was represented by the party’s secretary, Chief Niyi Salako, submitted that the party is no longer the alternative but a leading party in the state.
“We are a party with zero crisis. The party is the platform to produce the next governor of Ogun State. All the candidates we are presenting first-class candidates. We have to work harder because our opponents will double their efforts,” the chairman added.
