The Oba of Benin Kingdom, HRM Ewuare II, has conferred chieftaincy titles upon three of his subjects, recognising their outstanding services to the kingdom.
The recipients are Chief Ikponmwosa Omoregie Usiohen, renowned for his captivating panegyric (oration), who was honoured with the title of Obasoyen of Benin.
Chief Orumwense Ogieva was bestowed with the title of Obarenogae of Benin, and Chief Victor Otaniyen Aguebor was proclaimed the Ukueben of Benin.
Accompanied by their family members and friends during their appreciation visit to the Benin Monarch, they danced to the admiration of Oba Ewuare II, who advised them to demonstrate a sense of responsibility in their new positions.
They expressed gratitude to the Oba for the privilege bestowed upon them and pledged their unflinching loyalty to the Oba.
