Director General of National Youth Service Corps, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu has appealed for increased insurance package and robust remuneration for Corps members serving as ad hoc staff during elections in the country.
Nafiu made the demand considering the prevailing economic situation and the need for insurance package for the Corps Members.
NYSC, Director, Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, in a statement on Friday, stated this when he hosted the Chairman of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Professor Mahmood Yakubu, and some of his Management team at the NYSC National Directorate Headquarters in Maitama, Abuja.
