This was detailed in a circular dated August 7, 2023, titled “2024 Batch ‘B’ Orientation Course,” which was signed by the Director of Planning, Research, and Statistics, Ahmed Ikaka, on behalf of the Director-General of the NYSC.

The orientation exercise is set to take place across all 36 states of Nigeria, including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

The course will commence on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, with registration open from August 28 to August 30.

The deadline for registration is set at midnight on Friday, August 30, 2024.

A key event during the orientation is the swearing-in ceremony, which officially marks the beginning of the service year for the new corps members.

This ceremony is scheduled for Friday, August 30, 2024.

Following the swearing-in, the course will involve a variety of activities designed to prepare corps members for their service year.

The orientation programme will conclude with a closing ceremony on Tuesday, September 17, 2024.
