Veteran Nollywood actor Emmanuel France has passed away at the age of approximately 80. France was renowned for his roles in films such as Cross My Sin, She Is My Sister and The Director.
Nigerian filmmaker Femi Ogedengbe confirmed France’s death on Instagram, expressing deep sadness and reminiscing about their shared experiences.

“Rest in peace to one of Nollywood’s legends, Uncle Emmanuel France,” Ogedengbe wrote. “He was one of the actors I took to Tanzania in 2006. We worked together on three films: Cross My Sin, She Is My Sister, and The Director. R.I.P.”
As of this report, the cause of France’s death has not been confirmed. His passing comes just days after the death of fellow Nollywood actor Big Larry, leaving fans and colleagues in shock and mourning.
