The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the projects are the expansion of the state House of Assembly, the House of Assembly Service Commission and a clinic in the legislators’ quarters.
The expansion consists of 30 new offices, a 300-seater capacity public hearing auditorium and eight committee offices.
“We have decided to slow down our new projects to concentrate on existing ones. Our main priority now is to complete what we have started,” he said.
He explained that the projects in the assembly complex would create an enabling environment for the legislators to discharge their duties.
The governor tasked the legislators on maintenance culture and urged them to put the projects to good use when completed.
