Chieftain of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Honourable Damilare Abioro, has mourned the demise of the former Ogun State Caretaker Chairman of the party, Prince Ibrahim Adekunle
Adekunle died on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at Babcock University Teaching Hospital, Ilishan Remo in Ogun State.
Abioro, in a statement he personally signed, described the passing of the popular politician as a big loss to the party, Ogun state and the country as a whole.
The politician explained that Adekunle during his reign as the NNPP Caretaker Chairman displayed himself as an exemplary leader with unwavering commitment to the party, especially in Ogun State.
He added that the passing of the experienced politician and leader had created a profound void which will take time to be filled.
“I sincerely offers my deepest condolence and sympathies to the bereaved family of our revered leader and the immediate past State Caretaker Chairman of our party” he said.
“Words will fail me if I should start describing the grassroots politician who’s loyalty and commitment until his last breath cannot be overemphasized.
“His unwavering commitment to and remarkable contributions to the party will forever be cherished and held in high esteem.” Abioro stated.
Abioro prayed that God will grant the entire family and the party the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss
