NLC, TUC protest rally kicks off in Oyo

In compliance with the national directive, the protest rally by the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) and its affiliates in Oyo State kicked off at about 11.20 am.

The rally which took off from the Oyo State Secretariat will see the protesting workers move to Mokola, Agodi Gate and back to the State Secretariat.

Just before the commencement of the rally, Chairman, Oyo NLC, Mr Martins Kayode said the protest was against what they described as anti-people of the President Bola Tinubu administration.

He said the workers had been pushed to the wall, were hungry, tired, and want a practical feel of the promised palliatives.
