NiRA, LCCI forge strategic partnership to drive .ng domain adoption

The Nigeria Internet Registration Association (NiRA) has forged an alliance with the prestigious Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) to spearhead the widespread adoption of .ng domains.

This strategic collaboration aims to unlock immense opportunities and shed light on the profound significance of the .ng extension within Nigeria’s ever-evolving digital landscape.

Members of NiRA and LCCI present at the meeting included NiRA’s president, Mr Adesola Akinsanya; COO, NiRA, Mrs Eyitayo Iyortim; Head, Business Development, NiRA, Mrs Chioma Keke; Community Lead, NiRA, Peter Oluwatoni; Director-General, LCCI, Dr (Mrs) Chinyere Almona and the Director, Research and Advocacy, LCCI, Dr Sunnie Omeiza-Michael .

NiRA’s president, Adesola Akinsanya, stressed the transformative impact that .ng domains wield, underscoring their indispensable role in establishing a resilient and distinguished online presence for Nigerian organisations.

Mrs Chioma Keke, Head of Business Development at NiRA, highlighted the critical need for leveraging the .ng domain to fortify security measures and shield businesses from potential vulnerabilities associated with generic top-level domains.
