Founder of a non-governmental organisation, IA-Foundation, Mrs Ibironke Adeagbo has bagged Exemplary Women of Excellence Award at the EPRA Leadership and Entrepreneurial Awards UK 2024.

The EPRA Leadership and Entrepreneurial Awards celebrate women leaders who have
made significant strides in their respective fields. Mrs. Adeagbo’s selection for this award acknowledges her tireless efforts in championing educational opportunities for vulnerable and out-of-school children in Nigeria and beyond.

In a statement issued to Tribune Online on Monday, it stated that since establishing IA-Foundation, Mrs. Adeagbo has led numerous initiatives that provide access to quality education for children from low-income backgrounds.

According to the organizers, This recognition highlights Mrs. Adeagbo’s impactful contributions to advancing education for underserved communities and her outstanding leadership.

They said that through the Foundation’s programs, hundreds of children have been equipped with the resources and support they need to excel academically and reach their full potential.

In her remarks, The Founder described the award as a reminder of the foundation’s efforts to make a difference in the lives of children.

This was just as she described education as a powerful tool for change, assuring commitment to ensuring every child has opportunity to learn and succeed.

“This award is a reminder that our efforts are making a difference in the lives of children.

“Education is a powerful tool for change, and we are committed to ensuring that every child, regardless of their circumstances, has the opportunity to learn and succeed,” Mrs Adeagbo said.
