Nigerian creative designer Opeyemi Bello debuts Adire collection

For majority of designers, debuting their collections can be onerous, but for one talented and upcoming African fashion designer, that dream is now a reality. Born in Lagos, Nigeria, Opeyemi Bello is the Creative Director of Adorables Fashion – a Nigerian based clothing brand that produces bespoke and alluring array of ready to wear pieces and gowns, with stunningemerald and shadowy patterns for ladies.

Opeyemi was attracted to creative design from an early agehaving spent her childhood knitting scarves, as well as craftingexquisite bags and purses with beads. A few years after graduating from the University of Lagos, where she studied Computer Science, she decided to go where her treasure lies by starting, registering and incorporating her own fashion business known as Closet 323. The business however goes by the trade name Adorables Fashion.

Dubbed as ‘Aduke’ which means ‘beloved or cherished,’ the newly released ‘ready to wear’ collection is targeted at women between ages 20 to 60, especially those who want to look effortlessly simple, chic and classy wherever they appear.

“In crafting my designs, I pay particular attention to the cuts. This is because the cuts are like the foundation on which you build to achieve the outcome. In achieving that undeniably beautiful garment, the finishing also plays a major role, and finally, the icing on the cake will be the details.” According to her, details are an essential feature and an art that brings a garment alive and adds to its eccentrics. All of these are features that characterizean outfit made by Opeyemi of Adorables Fashion.

In order to create a far-reaching niche for herself, Opeyemi is currently working on her ready to wear collection to be sold on her Instagram page. On the page, fashion lovers can easily navigate their way through her collection, make comments or send her an IG or Whatsapp DM to make purchases without any stress. “I promise amazing deals and designs that are worth the time and money”, she said.
