The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 565 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 187,588.
The NCDC disclosed this on its official Facebook handle on Monday.

“187,588 confirmed, 168,818 discharged, 2,276 deaths.
“Today’s report includes: A backlog of cases from Benue state reported on the 17th (7), 18th (1) and 19th (4) of August 2021.
“Seven states with zero cases reported: Cross River, Gombe, Kaduna, Kano, Nasarawa, Plateau and Sokoto.”
