The Niger State Police Command has unveiled a comprehensive security plan to ensure safety and security during the Ember months (September to December 2024).
According to a statement issued by Police Public Relations Officer, SP Wasiu Abiodun, Commissioner of Police, CP Shawulu Ebenezer Danmamman, has directed officers to implement robust crime preventive measures.
He noted that Operation Order for the season has been drawn and an adequate number of Police personnel have been mobilised, and alerted across the State with effective deployment of Operation Flush and other operational assets of the Command to different strategic locations within the major cities of the State to tackle prospective urban crime.
“The CP, thereby urges Nigerlites, residents and members of the public to be vigilant and security cautious within their immediate environment and report any suspicious situation to the Police and other security agencies for immediate intervention towards ensuring a peaceful atmosphere,” the statement further added.
