Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, has urged the Muslim community to always be true advocates of Islam to receive Allah’s mercy.
His message was conveyed by his Deputy, Comrade Yakubu Garba, who was represented by the Commissioner for Agriculture, Musa Salihu Bawa, during the closing ceremony of the Ramadan Tafsir organized by the Annoor Jumma’at Mosque at the Government House in Minna.
Governor Bago encouraged Muslims to reflect on the teachings of the Holy Month of Ramadan and strive to become better citizens by promoting peace and unity.

The Director General of the Bureau for Religious Affairs, Malam Umar Faruk Abdullahi, commended Governor Umaru Bago for his foresight in bringing together different Islamic sects for a common purpose of love and togetherness.
Various Islamic scholars praised the governor for his vision in uniting the Muslim Ummah and offered prayers for Allah to continue guiding him as he leads the state.
Special prayers were also offered for the peace and development of the state and the country as a whole.
