Members of the Niger Delta Avengers (NDA) have congratulated president-elect of the United States, Donald Trump.
Spokesperson of NDA, Brig. Gen. Mudoch Agbinibo, in a statement issued on the website of the group on Wednesday, described Trump’s victory as a hard-earned one against global establishments.
Trump’s victory, according to NDA, raises much hope for over 30 million “oppressed minorities of the Niger Delta, that have been continuously raped and economically colonised because of our God-given resources over last six decades, by the Nigerian state and Islamic fundamentalists in power.”
“Mr. President-elect of the United States of America sir, we are hoping for a new perfect economic order and relations as it concerns the United States’ critical assets and interest in the Niger Delta.
