The Commissioner of Police, Niger State Command, CP Adamu Abdullahi Elleman, on Monday, 19th August 2025, received the newly-deployed FRSC Sector Commander, C.C Aishat Saadu, and her management team during a courtesy visit to the State Police Headquarters in Minna.
In her remarks, C.C Aishat Saadu expressed appreciation to the Commissioner of Police for the warm reception, stating that the visit was necessary to pay official homage, foster familiarity, and seek collaboration between the two agencies.
She emphasized that the support and cooperation of the Nigeria Police are crucial for a successful tenure in the state.
The Sector Commander also requested the Commissioner’s guidance and support whenever needed, in line with the principles of esprit de corps among security agencies.
In his response, the Commissioner of Police welcomed the Sector Commander and expressed his delight at the visit. He described the FRSC as a sister security agency and assured her of the Police Command’s full cooperation and support.
“We must complement each other, collaborate, and synergize to tackle criminality,” CP Elleman said, adding that no single agency can work in isolation when it comes to maintaining law and order.
He further assured the FRSC team of the Police Command’s readiness to provide assistance whenever required.

CP Elleman also acknowledged the challenges sometimes faced by security personnel, including unruly behaviour from undesirable elements during their duties. He promised to ensure adequate protection and coverage in such situations.
He congratulated C.C Aishat Saadu on her appointment and wished her success in her tour of duty in Niger State and beyond.
