… launches initiative for environmental sustainability
A non-governmental organisation, Billioncodes Initiative program has awarded scholarships to support education of students at Osun state College of Health Technology (OSCOHEALTH), Ilesha .
The event featured the presentation of N50,000 cash donations to 8 final-year students from different departments of the institution.

While the programme, which drew over 500 students, also witnessed the attendance of guests, staff of the institution, management members, and Osun State government representatives also witnessed the launch of an initiative tagged “Waste bin”
Speaking during the event on tuesday, the founder of the organisation, Josiah Adeyemo, noted that the gesture is aimed to support students in their academic pursuits.
Adeyemo who is also the Assistant General Secretary of National Association of Nigeria Students (NANS) Southwest added that the gesture is also aimed to give succor to the beneficiaries and as well give them the opportunity to achieve their goals.
Speaking on the newly launched project, he added that the project , “Waste bin” seeks to encourage students on properl waste disposal and maintenance of clean environment for an healthier and sustainable campus community.
He said “The scholarship aims to support students in their academic pursuits, enabling them to focus on their studies and achieve their goals.
“Our newly launched project ‘waste bin’ seeks to encourage students on propel waste disposal and maintenance of clean environment for an healthier and sustainable campus community.
“The success of this programme sets a precedent for future collaborations between Billioncodes team and the Student Union Government. Potential areas for future initiatives include expanding the scholarship programme, implementing additional environmental sustainability projects, and exploring other ways to support students and promote academic excellence.”
One of the beneficiaries of the initiative, Bamigbala Adewale , a 300 level student of the Department of Dental Surgery Technician appreciated the organisation for the gesture adding that this will go a long way in supporting his education.
