The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), in collaboration with Bellazir Limited, has concluded a two-week training programme on fire alarm and access control technology for 50 youths in Lagos State.
The programme, held from June 29 to July 10, 2026, was designed to equip participants with specialised skills in the installation, maintenance and monitoring of fire alarm systems and access control solutions.
The beneficiaries received both theoretical and practical training in system design, wiring, programming, troubleshooting, safety protocols and industry standards.
According to the organisers, the curriculum was tailored to meet the growing demand for certified technicians in the building, oil and gas, and real estate sectors.
Speaking at the closing and certificate presentation ceremony, the Managing Director of Bellazir Limited, Mrs Christabel Aniemeka, presented certificates and starter tool kits to the participants.
Aniemeka commended the trainees for their commitment throughout the programme and urged them to use the skills they acquired to build sustainable careers while contributing to the development of safety and security infrastructure across the country.
She said: “This training is part of our commitment to human capacity development and deepening Nigerian content in critical safety technologies. We expect you to be ambassadors of quality and professionalism in the industry.”
