The Dutse Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association(NBA), Propcom international organization and Jigawa State Social Protection Platform (JISOP) have extended their condolences to Governor Umar Namadi over the death of his mother and son.
This was contained in a press statement separately issued and made available to Tribune Online in Dutse, the Jigawa State capital.
According to the NBA statement in a letter signed by the branch chairman Mustapha Mohammed Kashim, stated, “The branch and its entire members share in the grief with you at this most trying and difficult moment.
“We, however, urge your Excellency, the immediate family and the people of Jigawa State to be consoled by the fact that the late Hajiya Maimuna who was a great servant of Allah lived a worthy and fulfilled life, just as your son’s demise is a testament of Allah’s decree that every soul shall taste death and the fact that the death of a son is a certainly a greater part of the trials of this world which, when endured, will lift the status of a being to a greater height in Jannah.
“It is therefore our firm belief that, knowing your Excellency’s personality as a pious and excellent servant of Allah who always surrenders his affairs to the will of his creator, this tribulation too shall not be an exception.”
Also, an international partner known as PROPCOM+ implementing the intervention in the climate-smart rural agricultural programme in Nigeria funded by the Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) has extended its heartfelt condolences to Jigawa state governor Malam Umar Namadi over the death of his mother Hajiya Maryam Namadi and his elder Son Abdulwahab Umar Namadi.
The development partners PROPCOM+ sent their condolences message in a letter addressed to the governor signed by the country representative, Dr Adiya Ode and also made available to newsmen in Dutse.
The letter stated “It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that we, the management and staff of Propcom+, extend our deepest condolences to you and your family following the devastating loss of your beloved mother, Hajiya Maryam Namadi Umar, and your cherished first-born son, Abdulwahab Umar Namadi.
“We are deeply saddened by this unimaginable tragedy, particularly given the brevity of time between these two profound losses. The passing of Hajiya Maryam Namadi Umar, a woman whose values and remarkable legacy undoubtedly shaped your esteemed leadership, and the untimely demise of Abdulwahab Umar Namadi, a young life full of promise, leaves a void that cannot be filled.
“During this time of mourning, we join the people of Jigawa State in expressing our grief and solidarity. We pray that Almighty Allah grants the deceased eternal rest in Al Jannatul Firdausi and provides you, your family, and the people of Jigawa State with the strength and fortitude to bear this immense loss.
“Your Excellency, we recognize the extraordinary challenges you face as a leader in these trying times, and we pray for your continued strength and wisdom. Please know that the thoughts and prayers of the entire Propcom+ team are with you and the people of Jigawa State during this period of grief.
“May Allah’s mercy and comfort envelop you and your loved ones, and may the memories of Hajiya Maryam and Abdulwahab bring you solace and inspire hope for the future.”
In a similar statement, the Jigawa Social Protection Platform (JISOP) extended its heartfelt condolence to the governor of Jigawa state over the demised of his beloved mother, Hajiya Maryam Namadi and Son Abdulwahab Umar Namadi.
The condolence message was contained in a statement signed by the chairman of the platform, Comrade Shuaibu Musa Kafin-gana and made available to newsmen.
The statement read, “With profound sadness and a heavy heart we, the leadership and entire members of Jigawa Social Protection Platform (JISOP) extend our deepest condolences to you and your family, following the devastating loss of your beloved mother Hajiya Maryam Namadi and your cherished firstborn son Abdulwahab.
“The entire members of JISOP, share in the grief with you at this most trying and difficult moment, by the fact that the late Hajiya Maryam who was a great servant of Allah lived a worthy and fulfilled life, just as your son’s demise is a testament of Allah’s decree that every soul shall taste death and the fact that the death of a son is a certainly a greater part of the trials of this world which, when endured, will lift the status of a being to a greater height in Jannah.”
The statements therefore pray that Almighty Allah grants the deceased eternal rest in Al Jannatul Firdausi, and provides to the governor, family, and the people of Jigawa State the strength and fortitude to bear this immense loss.
