The leadership of the National Association of Nigerian Students has applauded the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun for acquiring over 120 patrol vehicles and motorbikes for police to combat crime.
NANS Public Relations Officer, Comrade Azeez Adeyemi in a statement on Friday in Abuja, said the effort to support the police was commendable, especially in the face of current security challenges confronting the nation.

He said the student body was appreciative of the Governor’s decision to strengthen the police for the protection of lives and property in the state.
“Ogun state housed a large number of our students as the state has the largest number of institutions across the country.
“We want to also appeal to the recipients, the police to make judicious use of them to end criminal activities in the interest of the state,” he said.
