The Nigerian Naira has appreciated against the US dollar at the official foreign exchange market, closing at N1,506.08 per dollar on Tuesday.
Data from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) showed a gain of N0.76 for the local currency, which had traded at N1,506.84 per dollar on Monday.

Meanwhile, the naira’s performance against other major international currencies remained flat.
It held steady at N1,525 to the dollar in the parallel market and closed at N2,090 against the British Pound, N1,790 against the Euro, and N1,230 against the Canadian Dollar.
